Goal Oriented?

Here we are almost a third of the way through fall and it occurred to me that I had typed up my goal list and then promptly forgot all about it. Or at least I forgot about some of them. So, I thought I should probably do a little part way there state of the union.

First, I'm moving- physically (although I'm totally up for geographically as well). In an effort to recreate London I began taking a daily four mile walk around a local duck pond. This has become a daily treat and I really look forward to it. Plus I need to store up some vitamin D before winter, right? Right.

Next, I took a job. Now, it isn't a dream job but it gets me out amongst the people and it is a definitely resume builder until I figure out exactly what is coming next. I've also reconnected with my friends so steps toward "social" are definitely in the works. As a bonus the job requires the bar exam so that at least temporarily answers the bar exam query: NY/NJ it is!

Unfortunately, I've basically crashed and burned on the letter writing front. Sure, I've sent some birthday cards but not actual letters so this one I'm going to work on over the next week or two. Also needing attention is my pretty cake baking skill set. I missed the last round of decorating classes at the local shop but I'm still hoping to get this started in the next month.

All in all, I'm giving myself a B for the first month of fall. How is everyone else doing with their fall projects (official goals or just fun habits)?
